There are no ferries between Maui and Kauai so your only real option is to fly on one of the three interisland carriers. Hawaiian Airlines is the largest and most comfortable, however they only offer a direct flight from Kauai to Maui. The Maui to Kauai direction includes a stop in Honolulu, as do all flights via go!
