Following a hiatus of two years, owing to the pandemic \u2013 Island Fish Fry<\/em><\/strong> had been growing week by week \u2013 enticing locals and visitors alike to experience an evening of open-air fun, in a family style setting. Set to resume at a new location, PTV Headquarters at Stubbs Diamond Plaza in the Grace Bay area \u2013 is being seen as suburb location, perfect for all!<\/p>\nThe weekly Island Fish Fry<\/em><\/strong>, held every Thursday from 5:30PM <\/strong>to 9:30PM<\/strong>, will include a variety of local food vendors and restaurants enlivening your taste buds, unique fine arts, T-shirts and souvenir retailers, a live local band each week, fantastic cultural acts and performers \u2013 interspersed throughout the evening. \u201cHenry the Conch\u201d will make his appearance, along with a junkanoo rush by the We Funk Band, bringing the crowd to their feet \u2013 with many in the audience joining in to dance to the symphonic booming of the drum, cow bells, and rip saw. The event in its entirety creates a lively celebration of all things Turks and Caicos.<\/p>\nDirector of the Tourist Board, Pamela Ewing stated that: \u201cIsland Fish Fry has been a staple in our community for years, attracting visitors and tourist alike for a first hand look at Turks and Caicos\u2019 authentic culture and local food.\u201d<\/p>\n
Miss Ewing went on to add: \u201cWe are thrilled to announce the event\u2019s return and to celebrate the bringing together our beloved community and visitors from around the world to delight in what makes our destination so special.\u201d<\/p>\n
